WC2024

The 2024 World HPV Championships will take place on 16-18 August 2024, hosted by the British Human Power Club at Betteshanger Park near Deal in Kent, UK

Registration opens on 1st April and closes on 9th August 2024:

1 April - 15 June: Earlybird rate - Adult £70, Junior £35 (includes teeshirt)
16 June - 15 July: Standard rate - Adult £80, Junior £40 (includes teeshirt)
16 July - 9 August: Latecomer rate - Adult £90, Junior £45 (teeshirt not guaranteed)

• You can register as an 'Adult' (16 years and over on 16 August 2024) or 'Junior' (12-15 years on 16 August 2024)
  
  
• Any human-powered vehicle is allowed provided it has no other means of propulsion. Riders will be allocated to a single 'Class' based on the type of their vehicle (faired, rowbike, arm-powered, etc). Classes are solely for the purposes of results and prizes: classes will race together in all races, although we may run classes in separate 'heats' for safety reasons
  
  
• You can register to compete with up to two different vehicles. If the vehicles are two different types your Class will be that of the faster/better machine
  
  
• Car parking is free for people at WC2024 provided we have your car numberplate; if not then you will be charged £5.00 per day. If you know what car you will be using then please enter the numberplate on the WC2024 registration form; otherwise let us know the numberplate as soon as you know it
  
  
• Onsite camping is available at Betteshanger Park for tents, caravans and motorhomes (campervans, RVs) on the nights of 16, 17 and 18 August for £12 per tent or motorhome per night. Choose 'Camping' below to register for the nights you want. You can come back and register for camping separately later

The list of registered racers will be available online once registration opens. The riders list will contain only names and nationalities - no other personal information will be published

Privacy notice: Personal information given as part of registration will only be used for the purposes of organising the event and will be deleted before the end of 2024. No personal information, apart from names and nationalities, will be published or shared with anyone outside the WC2024 Organising Team. You may use any name you wish as your rider name provided it isn't already registered by another competitor.
